The Problem: Differentiate a Familiar Format Without Creating an Unstable Product Family
A hair wax stick may look simple, but its user experience depends on several connected variables. The wax must rise and retract through the container, glide across the hair without excessive pulling, deposit a controlled amount and provide enough grip to smooth short hairs. At the same time, it should avoid an unpleasantly greasy finish, excessive buildup or visible residue.

Fragrance creates an additional development challenge. A scent that smells appropriate in a bottle may change when incorporated into a wax-rich base. It can become weaker, sharper or less balanced after storage. Increasing fragrance strength without evaluation can also alter the sensory character of the product.

2. Create a Rosemary-Scented Pink Variant
