Quality Control

Quality Control Throughout Production

Quality control begins before production and continues through material preparation, manufacturing, filling and final packing. Each stage is reviewed against the applicable approved references and order requirements.
Approved Standards
The confirmed sample, formula, shade, packaging, artwork and order specifications establish the quality references for production.
Incoming Checks
Relevant raw materials and packaging components are reviewed before they are released for the applicable production stage.
Process Monitoring
The bulk product, filling operation, packaging presentation and production details are checked at appropriate manufacturing stages.
Final Review
Finished goods are reviewed for applicable product, packaging, quantity, coding, labeling and carton requirements before shipment.
Color Matching by Product Format
Fiber material, particle size, formula base and application method can change how a shade appears. For this reason, each product format requires its own color evaluation and approved reference.
Raw material inspection for hair care manufacturing
Material identity, appearance, condition and applicable supplier or batch information are reviewed before use.
Bulk hair care product quality inspection
The bulk product is compared with applicable requirements for appearance, color, fragrance, texture and other relevant specifications.
Hair care product filling and packaging inspection
Fill presentation, container condition, closure, dispensing system, label, coding and carton details are checked during production.
Finished private label hair care product inspection
Finished products are reviewed against the confirmed order specifications before counting, export packing and shipment preparation.
What May Be Checked?

Depending on the product and order requirements, quality checks may include:

• Product appearance, color, fragrance and texture
• Applicable pH, viscosity or other formula specifications
• Fill weight, fill volume or product count
• Bottle, jar, compact, cap, pump, sprayer or applicator condition
• Closure fit, dispensing performance and visible leakage
• Label position, print quality, artwork version and batch coding
• Individual carton, accessory and kit component completeness
• Master carton quantity, shipping marks and packing condition
• Microbiological, stability or other testing where applicable

The applicable inspection and testing plan should be confirmed before production because requirements differ across fibers, powders, oils, serums, shampoos and styling products.
